Up and running

Four colour black is a term coined from "four colour printing", and "two colour black" where 40% of cyan is also used to print rich black. By adding cyan, magenta, and yellow it becomes "four colour black". It is virtually impossible to print text over this.

Given that four colour black is a term not fondly used it serves its purpose brilliantly as my alias.

This is version 2.0 of my online portfolio. A selection of new work is available to browse in the Portfolio section, and random observations will surprisingly be found in the new Observation section. I suppose you could say this is a blog, but I think thats a dirty word so I wont say it... again.

Enjoy,

Threadless t-shirt winner

Its taken a while, but I finaly have a design up on Threadless.com. All of the guys sizes have sold out in one day, not to shabby if I don't say so myself. I didn't even get time to buy myself one.

Full sized work on Flickr

I've decided to put up work at its original size on Flickr. Now you can see most things at excruciating detail if the 600px versions aren't enough for you.

TYPE INDICATION™

A friend and colleague of mine Mark McCormick has launched his website recently. If you ask me, his graphics blown anything else being done right now out of the water. Incredible levels of detail combined with a clean simple style are perfectly suited to any newspaper reader looking for a little more. With redesigns of graphics for The Guardian and The Publico already, he's going far fast.

White Light Media website

There haven't been any updates or new work in a while. Don't worry though I'm still alive. Since moving into a new job at White Light Media as a designer I've been dedicating my time to them, and side projects have taken a back seat.

One of the first jobs there was to come up with a new website. Many days, and input from everyone there has resulted in the new site which you can see by clicking the link above. It simply couldn't have been put together without the expertise of Nick at Primitive State. Many thanks to him, I'm sure he'll be happy to not hear from me for a while after this project.
