Christmas cheer

December 18th, 2007

This year the home made Christmas cards weren't on the planner, but home made fudge (er... tablet perhaps by mistake) was. Aside from the actual making of the tablet such as jars-labels-cutting-washing up-this picture, it was pretty much Caitie.

The origins of 2012

June 5th, 2007

It seems that every design in the world is picking the 2012 London Olympics logo apart. What they haven't noticed is that the Fresh Prince used to rock this years ago

Valet parking?

April 24th, 2007

I thought you couldn\'t miss the parking bays in The States, turns out I\'m wrong.

Minimun of one

March 3rd, 2007

Look at this carefully, especially that middle line of text. ‘Minimal order one’, what, so if you don\'t order one then you can\'t have... well... ONE! I bet there were a few confused employees on the grand opening.

Wobbly wobbly

January 23rd, 2007

There are one of two reasons why this sign was on display. Firstly it\'s possible the staff just get upset when you put your pint where they put the condiments, or secondly said shelf is a little bit wobbly, and you might cause unnecessary spillage. But to go to the effort of actually printing out a sign in the second scenario, wouldn\'t it have been just as effective to repair the shelf?
It\'s like when you see those permanent road signs to tell you delays are likely up ahead. Yeah, thanks for telling us, any chance of doing something about it instead?

Bathwater

January 20th, 2007

You see all sorts of things lying next to bins here, tv's, settee's, bed's... bath's? This caring previous owner of this particular bath was nice enough to inform the neighbours why it\'s still lying in the street. Also a nice reminder to the council that they are useless. What do they do with all of our money?

Home made cards

January 16th, 2007

Last year I finally decided to make my own Christmas cards. A trip to Paper Chase, B&Q, and back to Paper Chase later (forgot the envelopes) I had 15 little beauties to post out. This could be very cost effective if you were printing vast quantities but for my small batch it probably worked out the same as buying a pack.
After seeing it in my brothers house it stood out a mile against the 50 or so white cards. This could be a good or bad thing depending on how you perceive it.
Sorry if you didn't get one.
